Child is holiday grateful
The cheerily decorated home of Sierra Wilde and Karen Dorland in Concord Hills led to an anonymous hand-made child thank-you note in their mailbox last week. Wilde posted about the sweet sentiment on social media, saying she would love to know the identity of the letter creator. “I would love to thank them, and thank their parents for raising such a thoughtful child or children,” Wilde said. “In today’s age, it is just very unusual to see, but so appreciated.” She noted her neighbors, Ann and Randy Hackett, also received a similar hand-painted note of thanks for their display. Wilde received an outpouring of positive comments on social media and has had a steady stream of visitors to view her decorations.
“It is amazing the response I’ve had.”
