18th-ranked nationally, FHS frosh picks Vols
How good is Brenan Seiglar, talented freshman outfielder awaiting his first season to play for perennial power Farragut High School and Admirals skipper Matt Buckner?
“He is No. 1-ranked in the Class of 2024 in Tennessee and the 18th-ranked player in the country,” Buckner said of Perfect Game rankings, as Seiglar committed to the Tennessee Vols earlier this month.
“Brenan is a tremendous athlete with a bright future,” the Ads skipper added. “We are excited about his career at Farragut to come. He has been exceptional on the travel circuit this summer, which put him in a position to have many schools interested in him.”
Specifically, “He was chosen to compete in PG 14-U Select Fest this past summer,” Buckner said. “He was also chosen as Perfect Game’s National 14-U Offensive Player of the Year this summer.”
