It may look different this year, but the Knoxville-Northshore Chapter of Moms Club International has committed to hosting its 8th Annual West Knox Preschool and Activities Fair beginning at 10 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 16 — only on the group’s Facebook page.
“We had to go virtual this year because of COVID,” explained Kate Lee, the club’s assistant vice president of outreach who also noted the event typically takes place at St. John Neumann Catholic Church and and SJNC School.
“We hope we will be able to have it there again next year,” she added.
The virtual event still works to fulfill the Club’s goal of helping connect parents to schools and other educational resources for young children in the West Knox County area.
The program will feature seven (as of press deadline) preschools, with representatives of each being present online to answer questions.
They include Garden Path School, Annoor Academy of Knoxville, Clayton-Bradley Academy, Episcopal School of Knoxville, Farragut Church of Christ, Morning Star Child Development Center and Webb School of Knoxville.
Additionally, the event’s Facebook Page also offers posts highlighting family-centric activities and studios, including Tinkergarten, Inicios Language Learning Center, Angela Floyd Studios, Knox Moms and Knoxville Academy of Martial Arts among others.
Visit Facebook.com/West Knox Preschool Activities Fair for more information.
Postings will still be available online after the event for those unable to attend.
