Beer now on tap at The Farragut Table
The Farragut Table is now serving beer.
The business, located in the Stonecrest shopping center and owned by Ken and Katy Bagdon, was approved for a beer permit by Farragut’s Beer Board Feb. 11.
The couple is expanding its menu — which already includes pizzas, pastas, burgers and desserts — in the hopes of drawing in more clientele.
“We never planned on selling beer, but over the past months we continued to receive requests for an alcoholic beverage,” said Katy Bagdon, who manages the day-to-day operations. “Doing some research, we found out that our seating capacity is too small for wine and alcohol, therefore beer it is.”
As of the weekend of Feb. 20, the restaurant had received its first beer shipment.
“From the recommendations of our distributer, we are currently carrying Bud, Bud Light, Michelob Ultra, a couple of Seltzers, Sweetwater and a couple of IPA’s,” Katy said. “Next for us is to look into some draft beer options and delivery.”
Business hours are from 3 to 9 p.m., Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Thursdays through Sundays. For more information, call 865-675-8660.
