• Farragut Parks & Recreation Department is offering a new contest with a spring theme. The “Got Peeps?” competition, which opens Monday, March 15, offers a prize for the best scene created using Peeps, the classic Easter candy.
Participants can use favorite books, games and movies for inspiration to create a scene no larger than 18-by-18 inches. (A large shoebox would work.) At least one Peep must be included in each scene, and all characters in the scene must be portrayed by Peeps. (Any shape candy can be used and altered.)
Have fun and let your creativity run wild, but please keep scenes family-friendly. All ages are welcome to participate.
See farragutparksandrec.org/got-peeps for complete rules as well as tips and tricks for building and photographing scenes. Photos of scenes must be submitted to parksandrecinfo@townoffarragut.org by Sunday, April 11.
