• With regard to the Letter to the Editor of Feb. 25 (opposing red-light cameras), I think we need the red-light cameras, otherwise we would be having to remove cameras everywhere: schools, malls and stores.
Some major crimes have been solved with the aid of cameras.
Cameras are here to stay. Hiring more police sounds like a tax increase to me.
Anyway, we’re going to need cameras and police until we get better people.
