Local college honors listed from various institutions
Graduates
• During Georgia Institute of Technology’s (Georgia Tech’s) 259th Commencement exercises Dec. 11-12 in Bobby Dodd Stadium, degrees were presented to Derek Vaughan of Farragut, Master of Science degree in mechanical engineering, and to Gayathri Kumar of Farragut, Bachelor of Science degree in biomedical engineering.
Dean’s List honors
• Daniel Woodard of Farragut earned Dean’s List recognition for the fall 2020 semester at Lincoln Memorial University Duncan School of Law. Woodard was one of 98 LMU law students honored for achieving a grade-point average of 3.25 or above while carrying at least a nine-credit-hour course load.
• Kathrine Klenske of Farragut was named to Kennesaw State University’s Dean’s List for the Fall 2020 semester.
• Lincoln Memorial University announced that among its 628 undergraduate students earning Dean’s List honors for Fall semester 2020 were three students from Farragut: Brandon Helton, Katie Tuggle and Kelsie Tuggle.
• Elizabeth Morris of Farragut was named to the Dean’s List at the University of the South for the Fall 2020 term.
• Eleni Christopoulos of Farragut earned Dean’s List honors at Wentworth Institute of Technology, in Boston, for Fall 2020 semester.
• Roane State Community College recently announced its Dean’s List for the Fall 2020 semester, which included Tannah Hunt of Farragut.
