• At 10:49 p.m., Friday, March 12, Knox County Sheriff’s Office inits were dispatched to 716 N. Campbell Station Road (Cracker Barrel) in reference to an indecent exposure complainant. Upon officers’ arrival, they were advised the suspect took off toward North Campbell Station Road. Officers located the suspect in the “treeline on the back side of Cracker Barrel,” the report stated.

With one officer reporting he “announced myself as an officer with the Knox County Sheriff’s Office and to stop,” the report further states the suspect took off running. After a short foot pursuit, officers were able to stop the suspect behind Wild Wing Café “hiding where the dumpsters are located,” the report stated. Suspect was “very unsteady and jittery as to be on some sort of controlled substance; also spoke with a strong slur.” Officers took suspect into custody.

• At 12:29 a.m., Thursday, March 18, officers responded to reports of debris in the roadway on Grigsby Chapel Road near Campbell Station Road. The pedestrian crosswalk solar power unit for the crosswalk sign, another traffic lane pattern street sign and a tree were lying on the side of the road, having been cleared out of the roadway. “I noticed gray vehicle parts, possibly part of a bumper, and a Nissan emblem lying near the damaged crosswalk sign,” the officer stated in the report. No information on a suspect was available at the time of this report. “Knox County Dispatch tried to call the Town of Farragut, but were unable to make contact. ... Left two messages on the Town of Farragut’s voicemail,” the report further stated.
