Despite heavy rains Friday, Saturday, and even early Sunday, Concord United Methodist Church was able to host its planned Easter Egg Hunt March 28 on the church lawn. Children by the dozen collected candy-filled eggs at staggered age-defined intervals under sunny skies, visited with the Easter Bunny,

did a few crafts, and enjoyed ice cream from SofTee Serve and balloon animals from Volunteer Balloons.
