About ‘90 days’ to complete Watt Road people crossing
Farragut’s Watt Road pedestrian crossing project is scheduled to begin construction Monday, May 3. Once completed, it will provide a pedestrian connection from Orchid Grove and Sedgefield subdivisions to Mayor Bob Leonard Park, a Town press release stated.
Construction will include about 700 feet of sidewalk, a pedestrian refuge island in the center turn-lane and flashing beacons on an overhead mast arm. Completion is expected within 90 days. Motorists should expect delays and obey all signs and flaggers.
