A bright, sunny day welcomed about a dozen families who enjoyed Town of Farragut’s May Day Picnic at Mayor Ralph McGill Plaza, at the corner of Kingston Pike and North Campbell Station Road, Saturday, May 1.
Featuring fathers and daughters, this event also found mothers and sons enjoying cornhole and other games, hot dogs provided by the Town, music and a chance to spread out on the Plaza lawn. The Town also provided picnic blankets and goody bags for the children.
This event took the place of Shamrock Ball, which was canceled in March due to COVID-19 concerns.
