Reissing Health Family Chiro to cut ribbon June 8

Reissing Health Family Chiropractic, LLC., which opened in March at 11657 Parkside Drive, has joined Farragut West Knox Chamber of Commerce and will celebrate with a ribbon cutting at Reissing’s office at 11 am., June 8.

“It was a dream come true,” said Ashley Reissing, office manager and co-owner with her husband, Dr. Devin Reissing, CACCP. “We have been so blessed to make a huge impact in the community in just a short time already.”

Opening a family chiropractic practice has been “a passion of Dr. Devin’s ever since he was younger and saw what it did for his mom, who was in a car accident,” she said. “After interning in college at a pediatric and pregnancy clinic, he knew that (prenatal and pediatric chiropractic medicine) was his calling.”

Choosing to open their practice in Turkey Creek was “totally in God’s hands,” said Ashley, who added the Reissings moved to the West Knoxville area from Wisconsin.

“We didn’t know much about the area and trusted our realtor … we couldn’t ask for a better location,” she added.

Ashley said the practice specializes in prenatal, pregnancy and pediatrics, as well as individuals and families.

“Dr. Devin is one of the only chiropractors in the area who has received his certification by the Academy Council of Pediatrics,” she said, adding Devin, who has been practicing for four years, achieved pediatric certification through 200-hour curriculum of advanced academics and clinical studies through the ICPA. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, Florida.

“We serve entire families and individuals,” Ashley said. “There is nothing better than healing together and living a life of optimal health.

“Our unique and customized approach to care for every patient helps support you in the following ways: pain relief, improved sleep, digestive relief, infertility and hormonal challenges, behavioral and emotional health, increased energy, immune support and stress management,” she said.

“Chiropractic care through every stage of growth and life helps you and your children to heal, adapt to the daily stressors and express your highest levels of health and happiness,” Ashley added.

She said Reissing’s mission is to provide hope, support and answers.

“This is what we are about at Reissing Health Family Chiropractic,” she said. “No matter what walk of life you are in we are here for you … to give you the confidence to remember … you were made for this: every moment, every struggle, every joy, and that there is hope.”

Through its prenatal chiropractic care, Reissing can “provide greater comfort during pregnancy,” reducing neck, back, hip, pelvic and round ligament pain, Ashley said.

“(It is) known to create a safer, more comfortable, shorter labor to birth (period with) fewer interventions,” she added.

The clinic is open from 9 a.m. to noon and from 2:30 to 6 p.m., Mondays; from 2:15 to 6 p.m., Tuesdays; from 9 a.m. to noon and from 2:30 to 6 p.m., Wednesdays; and from 9 a.m. to noon and from 2:30 to 6 p.m., Thursdays. It is closed on weekends.
