• Big Brothers Big Sisters of East Tennessee recently was honored with a national Quality award from Big Brothers Big Sisters of America Nationwide Leadership Council. Board member Richard Riley was recognized as most outstanding local board member.

• Former Lady Vol swimmer Erika Brown recently finished second at trials in the 100-meter freestyle final, finishing second at trials and qualifying for the 2021 U.S. Olympic Team.
