• Jeff Grebe, a broker with Weichert, Realtors — Advantage Plus, recently completed a Weichert Real Estate Affiliates Inc. Leadership Academy training program. The multi-day academy is a top-level program for real estate leadership training and focuses on building world-class real estate offices.
• PYA, a healthcare consulting and certified public accounting firm, recently announced three team members have taken on new responsibilities. A firm owner, Mouzhan Mangum, assumed the role of chief operating officer; Bill Price has been named corporate counsel; and Brad Leskoven was named senior manager and director of tax operations for the Atlanta office.
PYA also welcomes Nina Eiler to a newly created role of corporate counsel and director of litigation support. A litigating attorney for nearly a decade, Eiler will assist PYA’s consulting and testifying experts in managing litigation projects, reviewing expert reports and assisting in deposition and trial preparation.
• Named senior vice president and chief operating officer at University of Tennessee Medical Center, Dr. James Shamiyeh will begin Sept. 1.
Shamiyeh previously served as the medical center’s senior vice president and chief quality officer.
• University of Tennessee, Knoxville, has entered into an agreement with AT&T that would establish a 5G+ presence on the UT campus, which includes a test bed. This agreement would help UT play a role in how 5G and its successors re used and address main concerns about technology.
