An Oscar Mayer WienerMobile — one of just six nationwide — stopped by farragutpress Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 27, during its first ever Southeastern U.S. promotional stop in Farragut and Knox County,

which ran from Monday, Oct. 25, through Tuesday, Nov. 2. “Hotdoggers” Ally Friend, aka “At the grill Alley,” far left, and Niki Sasiela, far right, aka “Nicoleslaw,” are joined by farragutpress employees, from left, Laura Sayers (advertising account executive), Cara Ford (advertising manager), Leslie Wiens, receptionist/circulation executive) and Cindy Wilfert (production department graphic designer). “We are doing a lot of community outreach. … We were able to take the WienerMobile to assisted living homes and deliver (flower) arrangements,” Sasiela said. “… People have a lot of nostalgic memories with (the WienerMobile, the concept of which dates back to 1936) and they’ll bring their family; or if it’s their first time seeing it, it always promotes a smile.”
