Westgate celebrates 15 years

Westgate Christian Fellowship had its 15th Birthday/Anniversary Sunday, Oct. 31, with those attending enjoying a wonderful Service followed by a BBQ & Burger meal afterwards.

Westgate is a relatively new church in Knox County, once holding services along Sunny Lane, at the old Magnuson Hotel, at West Hills Elementary School and in a facility along Lovell Road — but now in a permanent location: 416 N. Campbell Station Road in Farragut.

Pastor Mark Steinbach, lead pastor at Westgate, stated: “God has blessed us with so many wonderful people over the last 15 years, people who have been very supportive, loving and caring about one another and our community.

“Our greatest desire is to provide ministry that is simple (love God, love others), relevant (ministry that matters), and real (real lives encounteing and experiencing a real God), and we look forward to seeing what God has in store for the next chapter of our journey together,” he added.

Weekly services are held starting at 10:30 a.m., and include contemporary worship (with some classics integrated in), an anointed message from the Word and time for prayer and seeking the Lord together. Children’s ministries also are available.
