Top 2 again for Lady Ads

Another season, another finish near the top for Chelsea Osborne’s Farragut Lady Admirals cross country team. “Finishing second for the second year in a row is a great finish to the season,”

Osborne said about the program’s runner-up finish in the TSSAA Class AAA meet in Hendersonville Thursday, Nov. 4. “This group of seniors has had runner-up finishes and a third-place in their four years. That’s pretty phenomenal.” Individually, senior Grace Lathrop finished fourth (18:34.60) and accomplished even more. “Grace had an outstanding day; finishing fourth and setting a school record is pretty big,” Osborne said. “She loves to race and is fearless, which is a great combination.” Senior Camryn Johnson was 19th (19:17.40). Farragut’s boys finished fourth for the second year in a row. “We return most of the top seven, so it’ll be exciting to see how next year goes,” Osborne said. Led by junior Trevor Coggin’s seventh-place finish (15:49.23), “Trevor really went for it today,” Osborne said. “He put himself right in the mix from the beginning and I’m really proud of how he ran.”
