Signees from Webb, Catholic, CAK

Three West Knox County private high schools combined to have 13 senior student/athletes sign National Letter of Intent papers to play at various colleges and universities.

At Webb School of Knoxville, Spartan senior basketball standouts Jaylon Green, a point guard, and Luke Lentz, a wing, signed Monday, Nov. 22. in Webb’s Lee Athletic Center. Green chose Maryville College, while Lentz signed with Anderson University (South Carolina).

At Knoxville Catholic High School, six KCHS seniors signed Wednesday, Nov. 10, during a ceremony at the school: Gráinne McGrath, volleyball, signed with Furman University; Morgan Phillips, volleyball, Oglethorpe University; Ceci Pumariega, soccer, Anderson University; Jodie Spangler, golf, Roane State Community College; Kelsey Miller, soccer, Milligan University, and Christopher Grill, soccer, Union University.

Five Christian Academy of Knoxville student-athletes also signed Nov. 10 in a ceremony at CAK: Walker Strange, baseball, Lipscomb University; Kaleb Wilson, golf, West Virginia University; Ben Johnston, golf, Carson Newman; Jackson Hughey, golf, Union University; and Emma Bethel, softball, Eastern Kentucky University.
