Chocolate Fest set in H-Valley
The inaugural Hardin Valley Chocolate Festival & Crafter’s Fair will be held from noon to 5 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 5 — just in time for Valentine’s Day.
More than a dozen chocolate vendors from across the region have signed up, along with more than 40 crafters, organizer Theresa West said.
The event takes place at 10613 Dogwood Road, which is a shared community building between Emmanuel Church and Citizens Church.
Tickets are $10 for the tastings, but admission is free for those wishing only to shop.
“Each ticket gets you a sample of every chocolate vendor at the show, along with a ballot to vote for the best,” West added. “We will even have gluten-free and dairy-free options.”
Valentine’s gifts — including soaps, candles and jewelry— also will be plentiful.
For more information, visit Hardin Valley Chocolate Festival & Crafter’s Fair on Facebook, where tickets may be purchased, https://www.facebook.com/events/3015865835292760.
Tickets may also be purchased the day of the event at the door.
