Citizen input on Knox land use, transportation starts March 27

Knox County and Knoxville-Knox County Planning are seeking citizen input for Advance Knox, a comprehensive planning process for land use/transportation decisions for years to come.

Ideas Week, which kicks off Sunday, March 27, is the first round of seven workshops across the county designed to introduce the community to the project. Participants at the 90-minute workshops will work in small groups to generate ideas and participate in map-based activities.

Locations, dates and times convenient for Farragut-area residents include: 5:30 p.m., Monday, March 28, in Hardin Valley Middle School library, and 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, in Northshore Elementary School gymnasium.

Opportunities to participate in the process virtually also are available. Anyone interested can attend a virtual workshop at noon, Tuesday, March 29, by registering ahead of time.
