Movies at McGill kicks off this Saturday

“Movies at McGill,” previously planned for this past Saturday, has been rescheduled to this Saturday, April 16, due to inclement weather.

“Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” will be shown beginning at dusk on the back lawn behind the Campbell Station Inn, all to benefit Send Senior Citizens Love.

“The fun starts at 7 p.m., with lawn games and concessions,” said Ashely Lynch, SSCL founder.

While the event is free to attend, donations are welcomed. Popcorn, candy and ice cream will be sold for suggested donations of $1 each.

Event sponsors include Visit Farragut, the Town of Farragut, Baby Otter Survival Swim School, Knoxville TVA Employee’s Credit Union, Bluebell Ice Cream and Kroger.

“Movies at McGill” will continue monthly through June, with “Finding Nemo” on May 21 and “Encanto” June 18.
