CAK soccer dominates top district honors
Led by Most Valuable Player Weston Parker of Christian Academy of Knoxville, superlatives on the Division II-East Region All-District 2A Team are dominated by the division champion Warriors, who reached the TSSAA state quarterfinals (11-4-1).
While Parker posted 10 goals and chipped in eight assists, four other Warriors also were district “best of” honorees.
Offensive Player of the Year Jack Britton, Midfield Player of the Year Chase Stokely, Goalkeeper of the Year Lane Roberts and Coach of the Year Bobby Deets.
Other CAK All-District honorees were Kaleab Belk and Greyson Stokely.
Helping Concord Christian School earn a special playoff victory (see story on page 1B) were All-District honorees Franklin Von Hagen, Marshall Craft and Army Eckles.
