The Cove’s 2nd Saturday Concert Series starts June 11 with Mystic Rhythm Tribe
Knox County’s Parks and Recreation Department is again overseeing the county’s annual Second Saturday Concert Series, starting Saturday, June 11, in The Cove at Concord Park, 11808 S. Northshore Drive — the county’s most visited park.
Mystic Rhythm Tribe performs in The Cove June 11, with Leftfoot Dave and the Magic Hats set for July 9 and Rockinfellerz Aug. 13.
All concerts, held from 6 to 8 p.m., are free of charge. Those attending are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs and food. No alcohol is permitted.
If any concert must be canceled because of weather, the county will post a notification to the Parks and Rec Facebook page and the Park’s Twitter page, according to a Knox County Government press release.
