Yarnell-North Campbell Station intersection to be 4-way stop
Motorists going to and from Hardin Valley on North Campbell Station Road will see a major traffic change at its intersection with Yarnell Road.
A new four-way stop will be installed and go into effect Monday, July 11, at that intersection, according to Knox County officials.
Currently, stop signs on both sides of Yarnell are the only traffic mitigations at the intersection, but area residents have been advocating for a change for some time — even going so far as starting an online petition earlier this year for county officials to consider changing the intersection to a four-way stop.
Lights and signage have been placed in recent weeks along North Campbell Station, advising motorists of the upcoming changes.
