Sitel Group to hire 150 at onsite job fair

Sitel Group, a global contact center located at 11221 Outlet Drive in Farragut, plans to hire more than 150 associates during its open house hiring event from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesday, July 20, at its Outlet Drive site to support new business and client growth in Knox County.

“Sitel Group associates have access to numerous career opportunities and advancement as the organization continues to experience a surge in business activity in the region,” a Sitel press release stated.

According to the release, the company is hiring for various customer-service positions at its 15 brick-and-mortar centers across North America, while also offering fully remote positions.

“The demand for more employees is a result of the recently completed $2.2 billion acquisition of the formerly publicly traded company, Sykes Enterprises Inc.,” the release stated.

“I am pleased to announce that Sitel Group has completed the acquisition of Sykes,” said Laurent Uberti, president/CEO/co-founder of Sitel Group. “This combination significantly widens our global reach and diversifies our product and service offerings to benefit our customers.
