Cindy Doyle State Farm team members recently celebrated State Farm’s 100th anniversary with a party at Doyle’s office, 248 N. Peters Road in West Knoxville. Doyle, fourth from left, is joined by, from left, Linda Lane, Ashley Corwin, Julie Branum, Mickie Hair, Elizabeth Abston, Marcie Ellison, Mark Lee (in back) and Michael Schwartz. “We have been the No. 1 auto insurer for the last 80 years,” said Doyle, who has been with State Farm for 34 years. Doyle said she moved her office to its current location in 2009. The late Tom Breazeale opened this location in 1957. State Farm was established in 1922 by George Jacob “G.J. Mecherle,” whose great-great grandson is insured by Doyle’s agency, she said.
