• Knoxville resident Natalie Eilerman is among the first Peace Corps volunteers to return to overseas service since the agency’s global evacuation in March 2020 due to COVID-19. The Peace Corps suspended global operations and evacuated nearly 7,000 volunteers from more than 60 countries. Eilerman is a graduate of University of Dayton with a bachelor’s degree in sociology and minors in social work and Spanish. She will serve as a volunteer in the Dominican Republic in the youth in development sector.
• PYA, a national accounting and management consulting firm, recently was ranked a 2022 Top 100 Firm by Inside Public Accounting. This is the seventh year in a row PYA earned the recognition, which showcases the firm’s continued dedication to clients and staff. It is one of two accounting firms headquartered in East Tennessee to make the list and the only ranked firm headquartered in the Knoxville metro area.
• The graduate supply chain programs in UT Knoxville’s, Haslam College of Business rank first among programs in North America, according to a report from Gartner Inc.
• Sarah Bowman recently was promoted to consulting principal in PYA’s Compliance Advisory Services team, while Jean Bartman was hired as a principal on the firm’s Tax Services team. Bowman has 15 years of experience in healthcare and operational process redesign experience, Bartman has more than three decades of experience leading professional teams and helping clients.
