Hundreds of children and parents got up close and personal with work trucks, tractors and first responder vehicles during annual Fun with Farragut’s Fleet Saturday, Aug. 20, in Mayor Bob Leonard Park. Children were allowed to sit in the driver’s seat and pretend to drive the vehicles, or were able to try out various equipment during the event.
Town Parks and Recreation director Sue Stuhl said the event began in 2002, adding, “We suspect some of the parents enjoy it as much as the kids do.”
