Blaylock nominated to serve on TN State Chamber Executive Board

Julie Blaylock’s Chamber of Commerce responsibilities now extend beyond the Farragut, Knox County and metro Knoxville area.

“I was very honored to be nominated to our Tennessee State Chamber of Commerce Executive Board for the 2022-2023 fiscal year ... representing East Tennessee,” announced Blaylock, president/CEO of Farragut West Knox Chamber of Commerce, while giving a roundup of recent FWKCC activities to Farragut Board of Mayor and Aldermen during its Thursday, Aug. 25, meeting in Town Hall boardroom.

“I’m excited to serve; should be a lot of fun,” she added.

Thanks extended to Town

Blaylock thanked Town officials “for your presence and participation and all your hard work in the Topgolf Farragut ribbon-cutting that we got to celebrate (Friday, Aug. 12).

“It was truly epic, and the record-setting event that the operations manager wanted it to be,” she added.

The Chamber president/CEO said that among 108 new members joining FWKCC during the 2021-22 fiscal year, “29 of them are in Farragut.”
