• Realtor Brian Yearicks of Weichert, Realtors - Advantage Plus recently was awarded the nationally-recognized Military Relocation Professional Certification from the National Association of Realtors.
The organization awards the MRP Certification to Realtors who are qualified to help military personnel, veterans and their families find housing that allows them to make the best use of their benefits and serves the unique needs of military life. The certification provides NAR’s members with resources to accommodate current and former military service members at any stage of their military career.
• University of Tennessee Knoxville recently was recognized as one of America’s best employers for women by Forbes magazine. UT was ranked sixth among businesses with headquarters in Tennessee and ninth among higher education institutions.
• Lynne Parker recently returned to UT-Knoxville — after completing a four-year post as deputy U.S. chief technology officer and director of the National Artificial Intelligence Initiative Office within the White House — to lead UT’s artificial intelligence research and education.
