Anytime Fitness Farragut celebrates 10 years
As Anytime Fitness Farragut enters its 11th year serving the Farragut community, Farragut West Knox Chamber of Commerce will host a grand re-opening and ribbon cutting ceremony starting at 4 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 11, followed by a celebration event, where prizes will be awarded to long-standing members, along with door prizes and refreshments.
Anytime Fitness Farragut opened its doors Oct. 12, 2012, at 12572 Kingston Pike and has operated in the same location since that time.
The club is open to members 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and offers “a clean, safe and supportive environment, along with outstanding equipment and coaching support for its members,” said Jay Povlin, who co-owns Anytime Fitness with his wife, Farragut Vice Mayor Louise Povlin, and Estella Nelson, who also serves as member experience manager.
“We are proud to have built such a positive atmosphere that allows our members to thrive,” Nelson said. “It takes a great deal of effort to operate on a 24-hour schedule, but our staff is ready and willing.”
“We look forward to seeing everyone at the grand re-opening event, as well as many more years to come supporting the Farragut community,” Jay Povlin added.
To register for the event, visit www.farragutchamber.com events page or call the club at 865-671-1112.
Club Platinum
Anytime Fitness Corporate recently announced Anytime Fitness Farragut is one of only three clubs statewide earning the distinction as “Club Platinum” designation for 2022-23, considered “the pinnacle of operational performance in the franchise network,” according to a company press release.
“This designation recognizes consistently high performance on several key metrics,” the release stated, and continued:
“Only 100 clubs in North America have earned this designation, out of nearly 2,400 in operation. These performance metrics relate to items such as member satisfaction surveys, staff response time for member input, member attrition rates and more.”
“Performance like this is not easy and should be celebrated,” noted Thomas Carlson, Anytime Fitness Corporate franchisee consultant for the Farragut location. “Throughout the year, the Farragut team worked with us on ideas to enhance the experience and improve performance.
“Obviously, they succeeded, and we couldn’t be more pleased,” Carlson added.
“Thanks to the hard work of the team at the Farragut location, and to a thriving community of members, we’re making healthy happen every day,” Jay Povlin said. “We are thrilled to have this recognition. ....
“It’s especially pleasing seeing the team gel around a goal of making this club grow through extreme attention to the member’s success and a hyper focus on club culture,” he added. “
This is not easy work, and takes dedication and perseverance. Louise and I would like to thank Estella for the long hours and consistently high standards of performance.”
