Hundreds of Farrragut West Knox Chamber of Commerce and area community members dressed in their finest for a night of shimmer and elegance at FWKCC’s The Auction: Charity Gala & Dinner Affair in The Venue at Lenior City Thursday, Sept. 29.
The event, benefiting Remote Area Medical, experienced a “record crowd” — 347 tickets sold, the most of any auction FWKCC president/CEO Julie Blaylock said she has seen during her time with the Chamber.
The crowd perused and bid on the many silent auction items, savored the Classy Caterer fare and then bid on live auction items, such as weekend getaways, a new set of tires and the biggest bid of the evening: lunch with Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs and Farragut Mayor Ron Williams.
