KCSO reports

• At 5:45 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 16, a complainant called Knox County Sheriff’s Office Teleserve Unit to report a theft of her card numbers from a Comblain Road address. She advised she received two e-mails from Walmart, one confirming a pick-up order placed with them using her card information but using the suspect’s name, phone number and address.

Walmart canceled the other stating the order due to possible fraud. Complainant advised she didn’t make an order with Walmart and did check with American Express officials, who confirmed no charge went through on her card.

• At 12:49 p.m., Oct. 16, a complainant called KCSO Teleserve Unit to report a theft from the parking lot of Cotton Eyed Joe, 11220 Outlet Drive. She advised an unknown suspect had stolen the catalytic converter from her 2020 Toyota 4Runner. She advised the doors to the vehicle had been locked and no entry was made. Total value of loss was listed at $5,000.

• At 2:57 p.m., Oct. 16, a complainant called KCSO Teleserve Unit to report a theft from the parking lot of Cotton Eyed Joe, 11220 Outlet Drive. She advised an unknown suspect cut off the catalytic converter on her 2021 Nissan Rogue. She advised the doors to the vehicle had been locked and no entry was made. Total value of loss was listed at $1,000.

• At 9:31 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 13, a complainant reported two burglaries had occurred at homes under construction along Needlepoint Drive. Four interior doors were stolen out of each house by unscrewing the hinges from the door frame.

There were no signs of forced entry, but the complainant advised the windows were left unlocked on both houses. Complainant said one of the burglaries occurred between Wednesday, Oct. 5, and Friday, Oct. 7, and the second burglary at occurred Thursday night, Oct. 13. KCSO Forensics Unit responded and processed the scene. Value of loss was listed at $200.

• At 4:53 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 11, a complainant called KCSO Teleserve Unit to report a vandalism at First Baptist Concord Church. He advised three unknown male suspects were caught on camera spray-painting a retaining wall, support wall, exterior camera, doors and an ATV outside of the church, and then entered the church and painted on mirrors and urinals. He said it was caught on camera, and he has saved the video and pictures of the vandalism. Value of damage was listed at $2,000.

• At 2:04 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 9, officers responded to Cotton Eyed Joe for reports of an assault. Upon arriving on scene, officers came into contact with the victim/suspect/complainant, who said her ex-boyfriend/suspect/ victim grabbed her in the bullpen and attempted to break her hand. She was very intoxicated while speaking with officers and said he was going to kill her eventually and that he needed to be arrested.

Officer talked to the suspect/ victim, who said he was in the bullpen when his ex-girlfriend randomly came up to him, shoved him and called him a p---- of s---. Officers spoke with the bouncers and the officer who was working and stated that the female came out of CEJ upset and demanded that her boyfriend be arrested.

Due to the conflicting stories, no arrest was made and both parties were given and explained the domestic blue card.

• At 6:25 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 8, a complainant called KCSO Teleserve Unit to report theft of merchandise from At Home, 11501 Parkside Drive. She advised the suspects came into the store and ran out with the listed items without paying. She stated it happened so quickly she was unable to obtain any suspect identifiers for either suspect. Total value of loss was listed at $300.

* At 2:54 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 11, a complainant called KCSO Teleserve Unit to report a theft from Cracker Barrel, 716 N. Campbell Station Road, between 9:40 and 10:20 a.m. She later discovered her wallet was missing from her purse and received notifications from Chase and Capital One at 12:30 p.m. showing $75 in charges with those cards at a Kroger and at a Walgreens.
