Keeney, Robinson named Mr. Football semifinalists
Reese Keeney. Farragut High School standout senior kicker/punter, is a 2022 TSSAA Tennessee Titans Mr. Football (Kicker of the Year) semifinalists, being one of five statewide — this category combines public and private schools in all classifications into one award.
Perfect through 11 FHS games with 46-of-46 on extra-point conversions and four-of-six on field goal attempts, Kenney has punted 24 times for a 41.8-yard average.
Kicking off 65 times, the senior has booted 52 into the end zone for touchbacks.
Charlie Robinson, who as both the team’s starting quarterback and a defensive back, has helped lead the Webb Spartans to an undefeated regular season (9-0) and a Division-II-AA East Region championship. He is one of five Tennessee Titans Mr. Football semifinalists statewide in Division II-AA.
With 18 touchdown passes and 1,588 total yards in the air, he’s also rushed for nine TDs and 620 yards on the ground.
Defensively, the senior has picked off three passes and forced one fumble.
