FHS Asian Culture Night set
Farragut High School’s Asian Culture Club is hosting its 2nd Annual Asian Culture Night from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., Friday, Nov. 18.
The event, free and open to the public, will be held in Vickie B. Wells Auditorium. Featured will be eight performances from club members in the areas of dance, music and musical instrumentation.
“The goal of this event is to convey the importance of culture in every community and the richness of Asian culture,” ACC president Ivy Zhang said.
The ACC has more than 80 members and is “home to a passionate and inclusive group of students who strive to promote cultural diversity across the school and pay homage to Asian customs and traditions,” according to a press release. “Our mission is to communicate the charm and variety of Asian culture to a broader community.”
Popcorn and drinks will be provided.
