Osborne a USTFCCCA Tennessee Coach of the Year
Chelsea Osborne, head coach of the 2022 Division I Class AAA state champion Farragut High School boys cross country team, has been selected as 2022 Boys High School Cross Country Coach of the Year for Tennessee by U.S. Track & Field/Cross Country Coaches Association, it was announced earlier this month.
Osborne’s FHS boys team also was Southeast Region champions while earning a Top 10 finish at the Nike Nationals in Oregon.
“This honor is based upon your leadership and the success of the Cross Country team throughout the season” last fall, a USTFCCCA press release, sent to Osborne, stated. “It’s also a reflection of your hard work and the dedication of the student-athletes, the coaching staff, as well as the administration of the school.”
The U.S. Marine Corps is sponsor of the honor, which has been awarded annually since 2014.
