• Andrew McGranaghan recently was named a partner at Coldwell Banker Wallace in Knoxville as part of CBW’s evolution and planned growth.
• Knoxville TVA Employee’s Credit Union will hold a grand opening of its Northshore branch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Friday, Feb. 10, at the branch, 1974 Town Center Blvd., Knoxville. Food and refreshments will be served. There will be door prizes and giveaways while supplies last.
• Dr. Megan Edwards will serve as Knox County’s new public health officer beginning in late March. Edwards is a graduate of the University of Tennessee and received her doctorate at East Tennessee State University’s Quillen College of Medicine.
She currently is working at UT Medical Center, where she specializes in infectious diseases and holds an academic appointment with the UT Graduate School of Medicine.
Prior to that, she practiced medicine at Maine Medical Center in Massachusetts with BayState Medical Center, and held academic appointments at Tufts University.
She is board-certified in internal medicine, pediatrics and adult infectious diseases.
