• At 3:26 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 19, a complainant called Knox County Sheriff’s Office North Precinct to report a theft of debit card numbers at a Kimball Lane residence. She advised an unknown suspect used her debit card numbers to make purchases online through Walmart.
She advised 14 transactions in a row were charged to Walmart, totaling $3,500.
She advised she received five large boxes from Walmart Wednesday, Jan. 11. On Thursday, Jan. 12, she received seven more large boxes from Walmart. She advised she did not order any of the items, but said she has kept the items until she hears back from a detective advising her as to what she needs to do with them.
• At 7:20 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 18, a complainant called the KCSO Teleserve Unit to report a burglary to his vehicle at Quality Inn, 11717 Campbell Lakes Drive. He advised he discovered an unknown suspect had gained access into his 2013 Dodge Dart and had taken items with a listed value of $150.
He said the doors may have been unlocked because there was no damage made to gain entry.
Complainant advised he was not aware he had to file a police report until he was informed when getting a replacement for the stolen items.
• At 9:46 a.m., Jan. 18, a. complainant called KCSO Teleserve Unit to report theft from Costco, 10745 Kingston Pike. Complainant advised she has a previous report with Harriman Police Department for theft of her wallet.
Complainant noticed a charge on her Simply Bank debit card at Costco. Complainant advised the debit card has been cancelled. Total value of loss was listed at $80.
