As part of Webb School of Knoxville’s football banquet celebrating a strong 10-1 season, held at Calhoun’s on the River along Neyland Drive in Knoxville Sunday evening Jan. 22, the program was presented PureMagic How the West Was Won awards for having the best regular season record among six teams farragutpress covers (a perfect 9-0). Hall of Fame head coach Dave Meske (middle in red shirt) and his senior players were presented $1,000 ($500 checks from PureMagic Carwash and farragutpress) and the Stetson Hat Traveling Trophy. Unveiling the symbolic check during the presentation are Tyler Silvey, PureMagic director of operations, and Charlene Waggoner, farragutpress Advertisng manager.
