Farragut High School senior Ella Pinchok was among dozens selected to participate in Dogwood Arts Festival’s annual Chalk Walk on Market Square in Downtown Knoxville Saturday, April 1. She won second place in High School Solo division drawing her mother, Marshanda Pinchok, playing her piccolo as a former member of the University of Tennessee Pride of the Southland Marching Band “as a tribute to her and the band,” said Ella, one of four drum majors with the 2022-23 FHS Marching Admirals. Ella found out that same day she will be continuing the family legacy this fall at UT as a member of “Pride of the Southland.”
