FHS base 1-0 in rain-short SDMT
In a rain-shortened annual Scott Dean Memorial Tournament played at four area locations, including the The Ballpark at Farragut, the FHS baseball Ads (13-4 entering the week) defeated Upperman 6-3 Thursday, April 6.
Brennon Seigler connected for two hits and three RBI while Lukas Buckner added two hits, including a double, and one RBI. Landis Davila matched Bucker with two base knocks and a run batted in for Farragut. Mark Underwood’s two hits included a triple.
Winning pitcher Matt Kilbey went two innings (no runs, one hit, no walks two strikeouts). Michael Delph threw four innings (two earned runs, four hits, one strikeout) while Reid Thomason fired two innings (no earned runs, two hits, no walks, three strikeouts).
