District 4-4A honorees led by co-MVP Buckner
The 2023 District 4-4A Baseball Superlatives and All-District Team have been announced, led by co-Most Valuable Player Lukas Buckner, Farragut junior shortstop, who shares the honor with Justin Bell of William Blount.
Offensive Player of the Year, Ty Denton of Hardin Valley Academy; Defensive Player of the Year, Brooks Wright of Bearden; Pitcher of the Year, Braden Suggs of BHS; and Rookie of the Year, Grayson Wright of Bearden. Co-Coaches of the Year were Tyler Roach of HVA and Dave Prichard of BHS.
Other All-District choices were: from HVA, Carson Hoffmeister, Will Webb, Jacob Dillon, Austin Bolding, Henry Ferguson and Adam Baker.
Other honorees from Bearden were Evan Goins, Aiden Tipton, Brady Frederick and Rhys Thomas.
Other All-District choices from Farragut were Ashton Sulack, Stratton Scott, Landis Davila, Jake Merrick, Eli Evans and Brennon Seigler.
All-Academic Team honorees were Michael Delph of Farragut, McKeon Maas of Hardin Valley and Luke Seagrist of Bearden.
