Town calendar
• Town of Farragut Splashpad in McFee Park, 917 McFee Road, is open for the spring/summer 2023 season, which started Monday, May 1.
Hours are from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week. It will remain open through September, according to the Town Park & Recreation website. The Splashpad may close daily from 2 to 3 p.m. for scheduled maintenance.
• Town of Farragut website, townoffarragut.org, “has a fresh new look,” according to a Town press release. “Staff partnered with CivicPlus, a technology company that works with local governments, on the redesign.
“New features include photos and graphics that stretch across the screen on desktop, a ‘Popular Content’ section that helps users quickly find what they need and a page that combines Codes and Planning content,” the release further stated. “A ‘Farragut News’ section has the latest updates from the Town’s communications team.
“Please bookmark the site for the most up-to-date and accurate info about the Town of Farragut.”
