• NAMIWalk East Tennessee, the leading community event in support of mental health fundraising, is set to take place at Mayor Ralph McGill Plaza, at the intersection of Kingston Pike and North Campbell Station Road, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Saturday, May 20.
This is the premier mental health fundraising event in the Knoxville area during May, which is Mental Health Awareness Month.
“This fundraiser raises awareness and funds to support free local support, education and awareness programs for all in the community; to build a community of hope for families and people with by mental health conditions,” a NAMIWalk press release stated. Learn more at www.namiwalks.org/tennessee.
