• Kylie Hall, grill master from LongHorn Steakhouse in Farragut, was named national Steak Master Series Champion.
She is only the second woman to win since the inception of the program, which invites thousands of contestants to participate in the rigorous series of rounds to showcase their grilling expertise leading up to the championship.
Hall won a $15,000 grand prize and the title of Steak Master Series Champion. She bested six other finalists in the championship round held during a one-day grill-off in Orlando, Florida, to become the sixth-ever winner of the competition.
