• At 6:15 p.m., Thursday, June 1, a complainant called Knox County Sheriff’s Office Teleserve Unit to report a theft at Adorable Child, 11525 Kingston Pike. Complainant said a suspect filled a shopping cart with various clothes and shoes “and ran out of the store fleeing” in a Chevrolet Equinox without paying for the items, a KCHS report stated. Total value of loss was listed at $250.
• At 3:06 p.m., June 1, a complainant called KCSO Teleserve Unit to report a lost license plate from an RV of a Hickory Woods Lane resident. Total value of loss was listed at $65.
• At 3:09 p.m., Wednesday, May 31, a complainant called KCSO Teleserve Unit to report a burglary from Walgreen’s, 11927 Kingston Pike. Complainant said she “arrived to work and discovered the lock to the back door had been cut and 80 brown totes were missing from the back,” the report stated. Total value of loss was listed at $3,200.
• At 2:53 p.m., Tuesday, May 30, a complainant called KCSO Teleserve Unit to report a trailer stolen from U-Haul, 10833 Kingston Pike. Complainant said “the business waited after discovery of trailer missing to report, hoping someone would turn it in to another U-Haul,” the report stated. Total value of loss was listed at $7,000.
• At 2:01 p.m., Monday, May 29, a complainant called KCSO Teleserve Unit to report a burglary to the shed on his boat dock at a Virtue Road address. Total value of loss was listed at $1,250, including “various tools” ($500) and a fishing rod ($400). He advised “an unknown suspect attempted to pry open the deadbolted door to the shed, and when it failed they kicked a hole in the wooden side to gain entry,” the report stated.
