Town of Farragut 35th Annual Independence Day Parade
Keeping up its Red, White & Blue tradition dating back to the late 1980s, Town of Farragut 35th Annual Independence Day Parade Tuesday morning, July 4, once again featured thousands of Town, Knox County, Knoxville metro area and East Tennessee paradegoers — and even national visitors — all enjoying roughly 90 parade entries while lining each side of Kingston Pike.
Town of Farragut, local businesses, school teams/clubs and politicians were among the entries out in full force — many sharing candy with small children along the way.
The parade began down Lendon Welch Way at Farragut High School, turning westward onto the Pike and contining to Federal Boulevard before finishing in Farragut Towne Center.
