• At 5:03 p.m., Sunday, July 23, a complainant called Knox County Sheriff’s Office Teleserve Unit to report a theft at Turkey Creek Medical Center, 10820 Parkside Drive. Complainant said “while she was working, she received a notification from her bank that purchases were being made with her debit card,” the report stated. “When she went to her purse, her wallet was open and her debit card had been stolen. Complainant advised she spoke with security at the hospital and they may have camera footage. …” Total value of loss was $500.
• At 2:25 p.m., July 23, a complainant called KCSO Teleserve Unit to report a theft at Cotton Eyed Joe, 11220 Outlet Drive.
Complainant advised he last saw his cell phone “on the concrete curbed area directly outside the entrance ... on the sidewalk,” the report stated. Complainant said he witnessed the suspect pick up the cell phone and take it inside of the building. Complainant advised he was unable to locate the suspect inside, but bystanders knew the suspect. Complainant said he attempted the “find my iPhone” feature, but it already had been turned off. Complainant advised he didn’t know the suspect’s motives.
• At 4:08 p.m., Tuesday, July 18, a complainant called KCSO Teleserve Unit to report a motor vehicle theft from Tennova Turkey Creek Medical Center, 10820 Parkside Drive.
Complainant said he went into work at 1 p.m., and when he came out at 3:40 p.m, he discovered his 2012 Jeep Wrangler SU had been stolen. Complainant advised the doors were locked. He is unsure if there is video surveillance. Total value of loss was listed at $27,000.
