Among a 30-team field during Greater Knox Area Interclub Swimming Association’s annual “City Meet” Thursday through Saturday, July 20-22, at UT, Fox Den Red Foxes “had a fantastic City Meet with a 12th-place overall finish for a team of our size, with most of our swimmers making it back for finals on Saturday,” FDRF head coach Marissa Van Leuven said. “As the smallest team in GKAISA League 1 for the 2023 season, we are tiny but mighty. Myself and all the other coaches at (Fox Den Country Club, home pool location) are extremely proud of each and every swimmer’s performance — not only this season, but grateful to lead such a positive, uplifting group of kids who will continue to do great things in our community.”
