• Tennova Healthcare - Turkey Creek Medical Center recently welcomed Marc Campbell, D.O., to Tennova Surgical Associates at the 10810 Parkside Drive Physician Plaza I location.
Campbell has particular expertise in minimally invasive procedures including robotic surgery.
His special interests expand to trauma care. Surgeries he’s performed include hiatal hernia, ventral and incisional hernia, gallbladder, appendix, colon surgery, splenic and abdominal wall reconstruction surgery.
Campbell is board-certified with the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery
• North Knoxville Medical Center announced the recent addition of Anita Scheiman, FNP-BC, to its gastroenterology (GI) team.
With a background in gastroenterology, neurology, med surgery, oncology and intensive care, Scheiman brings a robust experience portfolio to support the needs of the growing community of Powell and surrounding areas.
• Kenneth R. Tilashalski, DMD, has been named executive associate dean for the University of Tennessee Health Science Center’s College of Dentistry.
Tilashalski, known as Dr. T, has served as the associate dean of Academic Affairs at the University of Alabama, Birmingham, a position he held for more than 12 years.
His arrival comes as the College of Dentistry is preparing for its 2025 Commission on Dental Accreditation site visit.
